We had the chance to sit down with Sarah Schrimpf, co-owner of the home goods store, Cut Above Home<\/a>, at the Mall of America location to learn more about everything the store offers to both bridal parties and everyday shoppers! We were able to sneak in before business hours, giving us a chance to get a more intimate feel for the store. Sarah greeted us with a warm welcome as we walked inside the shop, which is fairly large but somehow able to radiate complete coziness with dozens of florals, candles, couches, and pillows. The store is filled with everything from sophisticated home decor to fun knick knacks for any occasion.<\/p>\n

So what is Cut Above Home’s aim in working with Forever Bride to help bride and grooms plan weddings?<\/b><\/p>\n

Sarah:<\/b> So our main goal in being with Forever Bride is to promote our giftables and for brides to see that we have a lot of gifts for their bridesmaids, gifts for their families, and that we have a lot of general things to spruce up their homes!<\/p>\n

Do you have any best-selling gift items for weddings or any personal recommendations?<\/b><\/p>\n

Sarah:<\/b> For weddings we have a lot of MudPie frames that are really cute, the tying-the-knot frame, the best-party-ever frame, a lot of things like that. And then we have a lot of everyday items the bride and groom can use for their new home — kitchen and baking items, candles, wall art, throw blankets… Really whatever they need, (laughs), it fits a lot of categories. <\/p>\n

What are some tips you can give to couples who are doing a wedding registry for the first time?<\/b><\/p>\n

Sarah:<\/b> I would say setting up an appointment with our store, because we can help to make sure they don’t forget anything. I know when I got married, there’s simple things you forget about. Our goal is to help the bride think of those items, and we have quality items that will last a long time, the cooking utensils and baking items are really great quality.<\/p>\n

Why did you decide to become a Forever Bride vendor?<\/b><\/p>\n

Sarah:<\/b> We fit the “favors and giftables” category, as well as having a wedding registry, so we kind of crossover into two categories. And Ashley gave such a warm welcome and she’s also been such a big help with the marketing and everything, so I just felt it was the right thing to do to become a member and try to help out brides in the area with those things.<\/p>\n
