So I wanted to have you both here to talk about Unique Favors and Unexpected Entertainment because I saw you absolutely CRUSH it at The Forever Bride Market last year in November (check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/pearl.davidsbridal.com\/inspiration\/planning\/forever-bride-market-highlight-reel-november-2019\/\">Highlight Reel<\/a>!). Can you tell me what you were doing at your booth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tune in to hear from Erik &amp; Kelsey!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a caricature?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; exaggerating the things that make you unique and special<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; some are just a stylized cartoon version of you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; all our artists have their own unique styles, but they just want to make a fun, silly drawing that makes you smile<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why are we seeing this more and more at weddings? I feel like it used to be a carnival thing back in the 90s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caricatures are unique favors AND unexpected entertainment: Double Value<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; a personalized gift that guests take home with them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; guests enjoy watching the artists work their magic<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like you guys said, it\u2019s a lot more fun and silly for the guests too! Photobooths can be awkward when you try to be silly or you don\u2019t know what to do. Whereas with this, you guys do that work! Since caricatures have made this beautiful comeback, what are some new things that have evolved in the industry?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digital AND traditional options for caricatures<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Traditional<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;1. markers and paper, hand-drawn feel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2. color or black and white<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3. color takes longer, you get fewer drawings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Digital<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;1. includes an external monitor for better visibility to guests watching<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2. bride and groom can have the digital files as well<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3. can easily be customized for your wedding colors and design<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4. big wow factor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What else can you add on?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add-ons for your wedding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; wedding logo printed on paper or added to digital file<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; lanyards or drawing protectors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; pre-drawn wedding couple, framed with matte for guests to sign<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; grooms dinner, draw the wedding party before the wedding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; caricature thank you cards and\/or save-the-dates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; digital collage of guest drawings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CUTE! Are there any other final pieces of advice or closing thoughts?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Closing Thoughts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Photo booths have become standard and expected, caricatures are something unique and unexpected. We hear it at every wedding we do, \u201cOh how fun!
