Wedding Morning Thoughts

There will be so many mixed emotions flying around your head the morning of your wedding. The days leading up to it might remain a blur because there are many last minute details transpiring. Here are some common thoughts that may go through your mind on your wedding day morning:

1) I can’t believe today is finally the day!
After countless late nights of planning and forever dreaming of the big day, it’s surreal to wake up and think “today is my wedding day.” It’s exciting to see the date that you have written on save-the-dates and invitations finally arrive on your phone’s screen.

2) Did I forget to do anything?
This is your last chance to go through the list in your head to make sure everything was completed. The days leading up to your wedding is both chaotic and a blur so it’s normal for a couple things to slip. This is when it’s especially helpful to have a wedding coordinator help with the last minute details. Check out our favorite wedding planners here!

3) Today just feels like a normal day
For some reason, many expect to wake up feeling magical on the day you marry the love of your life. But instead, you wake up feeling like today is just another normal day. The normal feeling fades a bit once you put on your dress, begin taking pictures, and of course, walk down the aisle.

4) I feel so natural
You may have heard this from brides. The day feels so natural, unless of course, you begin feeling the nerves. Nonetheless, it still feels natural. After all, marrying your best friend should feel natural and right!

5) Morning coffee, please
The day will be eventful, exciting yet tiring, so coffee is a must. Send your maid of honor and a couple bridesmaids to go grab coffee for all the ladies while you’re getting ready. Champagne works too!

6) It’s SO fun seeing everyone I love together in one PLACE
All the hours spent planning the day, debating which colors to implement, and caring about the details aren’t complete until seeing your loved ones there. Make sure to take a moment to look around the room and soak it all in.
