These Bridal Fashion Week 2025 Trends Are Already Wedding-Season Icons

Obviously, we love wedding season, but a close second to our favorite time of year? New York Bridal Fashion Week. This April, we hit the shows, connected with iconic designers, and proudly showed off our Fall 2025 collection—including the launch of our exclusive Marchesa collaboration (yes, it’s as dreamy as it sounds). We saw so many unforgettable looks across the NYBFW runways—but these Bridal Fashion Week 2025 Trends stood out as the ones brides will be wearing, Pinning, and loving all season long.

Consider this your sneak peek into what’s next in bridal—and what you can already shop at David’s Bridal.

Ethereal Silhouettes

Weddings are romantic by nature, but these gowns lean all the way in. Think floaty fabrics, soft sleeves, airy layers, and silhouettes that feel light as a whisper. These gowns from OUMA Bridal and Jenny Yoo don’t just look dreamy—they move like it too.

Delicate Fabrics

From barely there tulles to liquid organza and buttery-soft satins, texture was ev-er-y-thing on the runway. These stunning fabrics from Galia Lahav, Mira Zwillinger, and OUMA bring both elegance and effortlessness to the aisle.

Handcrafted Details

Intricate embroidery, 3D florals, and hand-placed lace took center stage. Each gown tells its own story—one that feels personal, artful, and deeply bridal. See our favorites from Anne Barge Bridal and Sareh Nouri.

Meticulous Draping

Designers brought drama with intentional folds, asymmetric drapes, and sculptural wraps. The result? Gowns that look editorial and sculpted without sacrificing softness from Mark Ingram and more

Drop & Basque Waists

This year’s runways marked the return of structured waistlines (yesss!). Basque is BACK—along with drop waist silhouettes that elongate the torso and create major visual drama, and we have Lihi Hod, Mark Ingram, and Jenny Yoo to thank.

Timelessly Vintage

From the 1960s Queen Anne neckline of the YELLOW by Sahar SS26 Collection to Sareh Nouri’s tributes to Ancient Beauty, vintage references popped up everywhere. But don’t mistake it for costume—these styles are reimagined for modern romance.

Striking Bodices

Structured corsets, illusion necklines, and bold embellishments took bodices to the next level from designers like Esé Azénabor and Sahar. Whether soft and sheer or sculpted and sparkly, our eyes were up here!

Pretty in Pearls

Pearls made a major statement this season—appearing on gowns, veils, and even accessories. Classic yet fresh, they add just the right touch of romance and shine.
