Forever Bride had the pleasure of interviewing two of our local vendors, Matt Brunnette of Mill City Fineries and Dan Capetz of Atmosfere. Both are reputable companies that specialize in men’s formalwear, so you can trust these go-to experts on all things trending for a casual groom.
What is the latest + greatest trend for a casual groom look?
Matt — Many of our grooms are opting for a more casual look. This includes a bow tie, bracers and a more casual shoe like a Chuck Taylor. Another easy and frequently used option is to simply lose the suit jacket. That said, grooms and their groomsmen always perform best when they feel confident in what they’re dressed in. Go with what makes you feel great!

Within your business, what can you offer couples looking for a casual look?
Matt — 1. We offer an entirely bespoke experience from start to finish. We always start with the outfit first and work with our couples to find the right colors, patterns and fabrics to accentuate their looks. We’re always happy to discuss the broader look as well. After all, both of us were grooms ourselves! Our company was founded around non-traditional fabrics. Think bold florals from the 1930s, textured wools from Italy and vibrant patterns hand-woven in Kenya. We provide all the individualized, dapper accessories the groom and his wedding party needs, including pieces for the family dog, ushers and dads.
Dan — Given enough lead time we can assist and provide just about any look they have in mind. We’ve been doing this now for about 6 years with hundreds of successful weddings under our belt, and can make the men’s clothing selection for the most important day of their lives stress free.
