What is your mission?
Ashley: Our mission is to provide an event space that is affordable and unique!
What are Sinclair Depot’s top three core values?
Ashley: Community; Fun––we want our guests to have a good time; Autonomy––we our guests to have the freedom to choose their own vendors. Therefore, we do not have a preferred vendor list.
How many people can you host? What is included in your rental cost?
Ashley: We can seat up to 300. Included in the rental cost is the venue and electric. We do not have on-site catering or rubbish removal.
Is there anything you would like to add that sets you apart from other companies?
Ashley: Free on-site parking during the event and no vendor restrictions.
From starting the business to where the company is today, what have been some of the biggest challenges and how did the company overcome them?
Ashley: Some of the biggest challenges were building our brand and reputation. We are always improving and doing everything we can to ensure a great experience for our guests. We are excited about the future, because we know brides are going to love the space!
To what do you attribute your success/the company’s success?
Ashley: A mix of hard work (there is always something to be done), definitely luck, and our family. We have all put a lot of energy into getting this off the ground.
If you could give the world, your friends, or your clients, one piece of advice, what would it be?
Ashley: Just keep going. Don’t let setbacks get in your way for too long and take into consideration others opinions, as long as it is constructive criticism.
Who is a role model or someone that inspires you?
Ashley: I have lots of them, but probably my dad. He works 8 days a week and gets more stuff done than anyone I know.
What are you currently watching on Netflix OR what is your favorite book right now?
Ashley: Netflix: The Ranch and Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children.
