Hello, brides! My name is Angie and I am an event planner and the owner of Hart & Sole, a new event company in the Twin Cities.We have ten years of experience in the industry and are so excited to be a part of the Forever Bride family!
A lot of planning goes into simply coming up with the name for a new company, and a lot of work into the style of logo.
What symbolic words should we use and what do they say about our company?
What do we want to convey to the client?
Many questions and much to ponder…
So, it all comes to this: we wanted to keep it fresh and simple. We wanted to convey our hometown roots of being a local Minnesota company as well as capture our desire to celebrate the moments in life that defy words.The antlers in our logo represent the “Hart,” which is another name for a male deer. What says Minnesota more than a deer? Seriously, it should be the land of 10,000 deer! And, to make it even more interesting, the hart’s head forms the back of a shoe, its “Sole.”This word, and its homophone (soul!), not only conveys celebration (kick up thesolesof your shoes and have a nice dance!), but also being a company of integrity and honesty.
It’s a new turn on an old cliché, but it accurately represents our desire as a company to be more than words. We have a lot of “heart” and a lot of “soul,” but even the very best words do not begin to describe my enthusiasm for starting a local business and the optimism I have for the future!
