When you hear about Angelia and John’s wedding, you immediately wish you were a part of it. This wasn’t their first wedding, so they decided to make it extra special for them and their family by creating a Caribbean celebration that would not be quickly forgotten. Angelia knew the area well and decided Rhodes Resort at Rhodes Hall Plantation was the perfect place to have an effortlessly picturesque ceremony. With a cliffside view of the ocean, perfect sunsets, an infinity pool, lush gardens with palm trees and flowers, it’s no wonder little effort was needed for decorating. The abundance of natural beauty set the stage for a week of love, family and close friends.
The week in Negril was filled with snorkeling, cave swimming, sunset cruises, authentic Jamaican food and a yard party in the hills where the whole village joined the colorful celebration. On the day of the wedding, poems were read, songs were sang and tears were shed as the couple read each other their vows.
Angelia wore a gorgeous dress by Grace Loves Lace while John and the groomsmen wore outfits found at H & M topped off with some classic Converse sneakers. She chose her daughters to be her maid of honors while her son walked her down the aisle. With such a close knit group, it’s no wonder that both the officiant and the photographer were close friends of Angelia. The evening was concluded with a reception on beach with a lobster dinner and twinkling lights hanging in the palm trees. You can almost feel the warm ocean breeze as you look at the beautiful wedding photographs.
