These wedding photos had to be one of the most difficultto pick and choose which photos to include because they are all amazing! Bride Heidi, went to go travel Australiafor 6 months hopping from one hotel to another. Little did she know, she’d end up meeting her soul mate. It only took two days of stayingin Perthwhen she met Luke. He was working in the mines at the time in Western Australia and on his time off, he would stay in hotels.Lukeended up staying in the same hotel as Heidi in Perth. They met at the hotel and the rest as they say, is history. If their story doesn’t make you believe in fate, we’re not sure what will!
We knew from the moment we received these photos that you all would fall in love- with this couple, the photographer, the venue, his suit, the décor, and her dress (which has the sweetest story behind it, but you’ll have to keep reading to find out).Their weddinghasthe perfect inspiration for you upcoming brides who love the rustic/farm look and they have some great ideasfor DIYprojectsfromthe guestbook, to table numbers, to wedding favors.Plus, this location is incredible to say the least. Not only did it have the stunning outdoor area, but they were also near the ocean and an enchanting forest with extremely tall trees where thesun was peaking through in all the right places.
Precious little side note: Heidi and Luke included their daughter Stella’sbaptism in the wedding ceremony.
They ended their night just the two of them (and their dog of course) in a castle…
Sounds to us like they lived an absolute fairytale that day- as it should be!
Thanks to Heidi + Luke for sharing their day with us. It’s safe to say we are obsessed!
These robes are too cute! A perfect way to ask your bridesmaids to be in your wedding.
We are in love with this updo! It’s simple, girly, and her hair accessory adds the perfect touch.
Heidi tried this exact dress on while Christmas shopping with Luke 3 years prior to tying the knot. They both fell in love with it, but decided it was just too pricey and she wouldn’t get enough use out of it. Luke secretly went back, bought that dress, and gave it to her as a Christmas gift that year.
We love this set up so much!
They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
Definitely one of our favorites.
Perfect color combo! The guys in blue suits with brown shoes and the girls in a soft pink.
But actually, how amazing is this?!
So sweet.
Excuse us while we pick our jaws up off the floor..
Oh you know, just a princess + her prince charming!
STUNNING. This location reminds us of an anniversary shoot from earlier this year! Take a look!
Check out Kiwi Acres Farm for something similar. This is SO cute.
LOVE this idea…the couple looking out to see all their friends and family supporting them!
A little advice that Heidi wanted to share with other brides: “Ask advice to time the different parts of the day and get a clear idea of how long the make-up/hair, ceremony, photos, etc. will take so that you can have a day that flows nicely”.
