Watching the 49ers playoff game at a local dive bar called Double Play in San Francisco is where Steven and Laura met; they were celebrating a mutual friend’s birthday. 4 years later, after an evening of delicious food and dancing in Rome, is when Steven proposed, and they celebrated over tiramisu and prosecco before sharing the news with their families. Just like their engagement, their wedding was just as beautiful. Inspired by rustic and natural landscapes, it was their goal to keep it simple so they could capture some of the beautiful “magic hour” vibes in the California mountains to create a warm and inviting space for guests. Laura not only adored the long garland that framed the ceremony site, she also wore her grandmother’s cocktail ring to honor her as she wasn’t able to attend the wedding. Steven, who is passionate about woodworking, created a large Connect Four board for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. That passion doesn’t stop there, as Steven’s brother, Brian, made a corn hole set for the couple, too. Steven and Laura’s advice to future couples planning their wedding is simple: “Enjoy this time in your relationship, and don’t sweat the small stuff! There’s also no bad time to drink the champagne you’re gifted for your engagement!”
Steven and Laura were married on October 6, 2018 in Livermore, California!
