Once upon a time, Alex and Meghan met on Bumble! On their first date they were seated in a very busy area of the restaurant that was loud & hot as it was right next to the kitchen, they both agreed on a second date which is where their love story truly began. While after dating for only 4 months, Alex asked Meghan to move in together and they became engaged in July 2017, and married in June 2018.
Alex & Meghan’s wedding at Almquist Farm was uniquely them and they wanted to make sure everyone attending their wedding had great food, drinks, & an awesome time dancing the night away. The couple opted for BBQ comfort food, complete with a menu surrounded by BBQ pulled pork, mac & cheese, and more goodness. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Glam Doll Donuts were provided. After all, sometimes all you need is love & a donut! 馃槈
Alex and Meghan’s beautifully simple outdoor wedding, captured by Carly Mac Photography, took place on a rustic farm in Hastings, Minnesota. The venue was perfect for the couple, offering open grassy fields and tall arching oak trees that made the ceremony feel extra woodsy andromantic.

Meghan opted for two different styles of bridesmaid dresses in both peachy-pink and navy.
How cute is this photo of the groom with his groomsmen?!
We are obsessed with this wedding arch made out of branches! Such a unique touch that totally plays on the outdoorsy, farm vibe.
The couple offered guests the cutest sprinkled donuts in place of a traditional wedding cake, and all we can say is…yum.
We hope you enjoyed this special look at Alex and Meghan’s beautiful farm wedding!
