We kicked off wedding season with a Forever Bride styled shoot this week! In the midst of all the fun + creativity, the purpose of our styled shoots is to bring our vendors together + showcase their work.

The beautiful, sunny day was hot and muggy from start to finish at around 90 degrees. So luckily we were mostly indoors staying cool in Cafe Lurcat, a bright + airy eatery located in Minneapolis. Though, we *happily* braved the heat for the “money shots” in the adorably artsy alley behind the restaurant (pictured at the end of this post, they are probably our FAVORITES).
Cassie of Color Me Cassie was always on hand to touch up our model, Allegra’s gorgeous makeup. If you’re looking for a makeup artist, she’s your girl!

Along with coordinating the shoot, Anna of Enticing Events arranged the tables + decor perfectly. At just 10 years old, she began planning events (birthday parties, “cocktail hours,” etc) so we trusted her completely throughout the shoot.

The Forever Bride team ran around throughout the day capturing BTS video footage for our Instagram story. We LOVE you, brides, so of course we had to give you BTS while it was happening. The excitement was too high to fully keep to ourselves.

We’ll never get over this gorgeous Cafe Lurcat space. Seriously. Believe it or not, it’s even MORE gorgeous in person. All the the greenery, high ceilings, chandeliers and historic brick wall = absolute perfection.
Jennifer of Grace Klein provided + arranged the pretty florals that you keep seeing in the photos. She even added in florals onto the cupcakes + made small DIY arrangements for the table settings at the last second. We took one of her stunning arrangements back to our office to admire her beautiful work even longer. If only flowers could last forever and ever!

Before the goodies were devoured, we weren’t even sure if it was real… it was absolutely perfect looking! Linen Effects provided the prettiest linens! It was the coolest thing – some of the lighting created the linens to look lavender instead of ivory. They aren’t pictured but just wait till you see the official styled shoot images. The lavender complemented the blush + gold tones so well.
Bill’s Toggery suited up our model, Garret in both a black tux and a navy tux. Looking sharper than ever, Garret sported a handsome man bun that brought some hipster vibes to the set.
