When we began planning for the Fall 2014 styled shoot we went through the usual ideas: pastels, pops of gold and metallic, glitter, sequins, a list of the same thing all brides had seen before. We decided we really wanted to step out of the box and focus on us, who we are, what makes us different. We landed on our roots, Minnesotans.

The one thing ALL Minnesotans have in common is that we LOVE our state. If you are lucky enough to be from the Midwest, you are darn proud of that fact. We wanted to focus this shoot on that idea and bring together a list of local Minnesota vendors that have the same passion and love for weddings as they do for their great state!

Our venue was a local favorite, The Aster Cafe & The River Room, located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. A stones throw away from the Stone Arch Bridge, The Aster sits foreground to the Mississippi River and the Minneapolis skyline, a perfect stage for our shoot.

Combining the efforts from each one of Forever Bride’s amazing vendors, Samantha Maroney, of White Room Event, helped to plan and coordinate this stunning shoot. Mixing the elegance and grace of a wedding with the urban feel of the cityscape and the “hipster” look that many Minneapolis folk immerse themselves in, we created a true “Urban Princess” styled shoot. Miss matched table decor and loads of color, with bits of Minnesota flare throughout the shoot, Jody Savage of Jody Savage Photography encapsulated our inspiration perfectly. Capturing the quaintness of the ceremony to the vast happiness of the dinner setting, to the detail shots of the one-of-a-kind “You Betcha” cake topper from JB Originals.

Forever Bride could not have been more pleased and happy with the team of vendors we assembled. Each one of our vendors brought their “eh” game to this styled shoot.
