Twirling in the golden hour light, Stephanie + Ryan floated down the sandy beach hand in hand––more in love than ever.

They have been married for over 3 years and captured their growing love with anniversary photos… which we LOVE! Because here at Forever Bride we’re all about preparing for marriage and keeping that commitment. It’s important to cherish your love in all seasons. So when this anniversary shoot rolled into our inbox from Sarah Joy Photography, we were extremely giddy! We of course love sharing engagement photos (like this State Fair Engagement) and real weddings(nudge nudge, like this Fairytale Wedding in Florence, Italy), but anniversary photos? What a great idea!

Anyways, on with the story (with a fun fact)…

Sarah photographed this couple’s wedding 3 years ago! Sarah tells us theirs was her third wedding she had ever shot, which sparked a friendship.

A couple years after they were married, Stephanie + Ryan moved from the tundra of Minnesota to the Oregon coast for job purposes. Sarah had planned a west coast road trip and asked Stephanie if she would want to do a photo shoot. YES YES YES! (Can you ever turn down a photo shoot?!…especially from someone THIS talented?!!!)

So with their wedding anniversary right around the corner, anniversary photos were the perfect idea to show the beauty of marriage and celebrate with gorgeous photos.

Sarah writes, “The awesome part about Steph and Ryan is I had these ideas in my head of what I wanted for the overall look at they totally delivered! They packed up their car and drove 5 hours to meet me in Cannon Beach, OR where we photographed their love, happiness and a few photos with their dogs Bell and Ziggy at Haystack Rock located on Cannon Beach!”

But actually, wait till you see their dogs at the end. Sooooo adorable!!

To have and to hold…your hand, forever and ever.

We know most of you are in the process of wedding planning, but not only are these photos great engagement picture inspiration, but keep an anniversary shoot in mind for later down the road (and then submit to us, obviously… ;)).

But seriously… we just LOVE when couples include their pets in photos! Speaking of which, Angel + Brian cuddled up with their cat in their Cozy In-Home Engagement Shoot and it’s basically the best thing ever.
