Amanda + Trevor knew that wherever they got married, the majority of their guests would be traveling from afar. So they decided to say their I do’s in a place that held deep meaning for them––the same place where Amanda’s parents were married, a small church in Breckenridge, Colorado.

But planning a wedding from afar is no easy task to do on your own, so they enlisted the help of Erica from Erica Sarell Weddings + Events to pull everything together. Erica not only had ties to a great network of wedding vendors in the Breckenridge area, but she also had the modern aesthetic that the couple was looking for.

After they vowed forever to each other, their reception was heldin the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area at Black Mountain Lodge. The coolest part? The only way to get there is to ride the ski lift up the mountain. Talk about an amazing experience for the guests! Plus, can you even imagine that spectacular view once you reach the top?!!

Trevor sported a sleek black suit with a handsome bow tie. His boutonniere provided a little pop of color to his classic look.

Amanda wore a beautiful Tara Keely gown that had a lace bodice and button details on the back and sleeves. Her sideswept hair style by Roots Hair Studio polished off her elegant look.

Bright color palettes + bold, modern designs are making a comeback in weddings and these beautiful photos unveil this type of look. We are loving it––especially with the black bridesmaid dresses and tuxes.

The main components to the design were black and white stripes, then they brought in pops of pinks and gold. The result was a modern elegant affair!

And can we talk about this custom archway for a minute?! Built by Southern Charm Weddings + Events, it’s adorned with amazing florals over the head table, tying together a beautiful union of girly + modern. And also, this cake by Sugar looks almost too pretty to eat! Those gold polkadots are bold perfection.

At the end of the night, the newlywed couple + their guests glided back down the mountain on the ski lifts under the starry sky. A truly magical way to close out a special celebration and begin a new life together.
